A Writing from the Heart

In the Name of Allah, Who came in the Person of the Highest Potential of a Human Being, to show us our Divine Powerful Identity as Living Vessels of the Creator’s Will in
Individual Expressions
As-Salaam-Alaikum,
I could never thank Allah enough for coming in the Person of the Black God because in Him was wrapped all of our Identities, dreams, and wishes. A definitive answer to the question of “Who am I?” poetically spoken in flesh. But why did God appear to our Grandparents when the image in their minds could not comprehend the fullness of His identity? Because all He needed was one man to recognize Him. Just like in our own personal lives, we are only looking for that one person to recognize us for who we are and love us for life. Through that man Elijah, He fished-in my parents from the wretched condition they were in; confused from Christianity and on a certain path to spiritual and physical death. But since Master Fard Muhammad was not from here, how do we know that it’s possible to become God again? He took a man that didn’t know who God was, drank alcohol and ate the wrong foods and resurrected him to Himself. You might say, “But he met God in Person. I’ve never met Him in Person”. Then there is The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan. He was neither saint nor angel when he came to Islam, yet Allah is exalting him to represent Elijah the Messiah in His physical absence.
Then Allah didn’t stop fishing with Malcolm, Farrakhan, Jabril or Tynetta. They even fished-in us, the new generation who were sick and tired of the Nation of Islam because of the pain our families went through to be witnesses of the first and second resurrection. Even though our Muslim families had been ripped apart from poverty, death, divorce, distrust and dysfunction, Allah kept on fishing through His believers. Through it all Allah has shown mercy to me and to all of us who grew up in Muslim households by giving us the opportunity to carve out a new future of Islam in America. He gave us a belief system so strong in the Reality of God that nothing could ever make us believe that God is an immaterial No-thing incapable of manifesting Himself in form. We could never eat pork or try any poisons without a clear conscious of what we are doing to ourselves. We might not have liked the Criteria of The Quran on our Shoulders when our peers are apparently free to try and do everything, but in the end our lives reward us for our good decisions. Islam, in my constant rebelliousness, found me wanting change. I wanted to speak up for those of us who were pushed around and forgotten in the Mosque. I wanted to show myself, my family and the Nation of Islam that NOIyouth is a Muslim Community striving to be Righteous despite our unique hang-ups. Allah never stopped fishing us. Even though a so-called “traditional” religious conversion is unlikely for a Muslim born or already registered in the Nation of Islam, a spiritual One is possible and can take place at any time. Allah loves us and came in the Person of Master Fard Muhammad to give us the awesome responsibility of cracking the esoteric meanings of the Lessons to show us a blue print on how to build a new world from our existing society.
Not a Nation of Islam that is seemingly religious in scope but a Nation of Islam that encompasses all manners of life through Culture and Problem Solving. A Nation of Islam where the Elders tell the Youth what Elijah and Farrakhan said about any given topic and we take that knowledge and bring it back to them and our community through developing food, clothing, shelter, communication, transportation, entertainment and all manners of sustaining and developing a Godly existence. Our Purpose for witnessing such an era of transition is to continue the fight for Freedom, Justice and Equality through all available avenues. We have become the wealthiest and most educated group of Muslims that the Nation as ever produced and we must use our wealth wisely. We must build currency between one another separating ourselves from the weakness of her economy. With currency I mean trust. Your word is your credit and reputation and if you lose that you are broke and definitely out of luck with us (believers). Your money is often equated with your time so spend your time where you would like your money to be. It doesn’t cost a dime to unite but we can’t try to hustle one another. We should focus more on taking care of each other needs. From an economical stand point, we are becoming too sacrilegious. We have to come to the trading table with the idea of taking care of the 40 million or more Black people in the USA or at least the 10 people in your family. We won’t build currency with one another if we don’t have anything worthwhile to trade with one another. Give life and everything you need to sustain and thrive in it. That way, we all can be Healthy, Wealthy and Wise and Allah who came in the Person will like the fact that we are a happy community of people striving to be One with our Righteous Nature; Allah, Who never stops fishing.
